Launchpad: Building Future Leaders
Launchpad is Gas South’s early careers program designed to help students turn classroom knowledge into real-world impact. Through internships and co-ops, you’ll gain hands-on experience, build professional skills and prepare for a rewarding career.
Cooperative Education (Co-Op)
Co-ops are a direct pipeline to full-time careers at Gas South. You’ll apply classroom knowledge to real business challenges and develop skills that make you an immediate contributor.
- Structure: Three alternating rotations, each 14–16 weeks
- Schedule: Year-round
- Target Schools: Georgia State University, Georgia Tech, Kennesaw State University
- Departments: Supply & Risk Management, Operations, Accounting & Finance, Marketing, IT
- Hybrid Work: 2–3 days in-office per week
Eligibility Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program
- Minimum GPA: 3.0
- Completed at least 30 credit hours
- Ability to commit to three alternating rotations
Interships
Internships offer flexibility and hands-on experience through meaningful assignments.
- Duration: 10–12 weeks (May–August)
- Roles: Corporate support areas like Human Resources, Marketing & Sales, IT, Project Management, and more
- Hybrid Work: 2–3 days in-office per week
Eligibility Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program
- Minimum GPA: 3.0
- Completed at least 30 credit hours
- Students enrolled in Metro Atlanta schools or with a residential address in Atlanta, available full-time during summer program dates
