What will transfer from my Infinite Energy account?
If you’re currently on a standard fixed rate plan with Infinite Energy, your current rate and agreement terms will carry over. What will happen to the deposit I paid to Infinite Energy?
Your deposit will be applied to the charges on your last Infinite Energy bill.
What if I have credit with Infinite Energy?
Any Infinite Energy credit balances you have after paying your final Infinite Energy bill will be applied to your new Gas South account.
Where should I pay my bill during the transition?
You’ll make any final bill payments owed to Infinite Energy directly to them using your existing payment preference. Gas South bill payments should be made directly to us.
What are Gas South’s payment options?
Just like Infinite Energy, Gas South has several convenient payment options. Once you receive your new account number, you’ll be able to make payments online, over the phone, in person or by mail. You can even set up Auto-Pay or paperless billing. Go to GasSouth.com/pay to see a complete list of our various payment methods.
Can I choose my own payment due date with Gas South?
No. We’re currently unable to offer the option for you to select a preferred due date when paying your bill.
Why will I receive two bills in June?
You’ll receive one final bill from Infinite Energy and your first bill from Gas South. The charges on these bills will not overlap, as they reflect charges from different periods of the same billing month. You can confirm this by checking the dates of service on each bill.
Will I have an online account with Gas South?
Yes. Once your Gas South account is set up, you can easily enroll in our online account services where you’ll be able to make payments, track your natural gas usage and receive important notifications and announcements from us.
